Hostel

Boarders are to strictly follow the daily routine prescribed for them before, during and after the school hours. They will always implicitly obey the instructions of the Warden/Tutor and will not move out of the boarding house without his knowledge/permission. Admission to BH will be made at the discretion of the Principal.

Cleanliness

Boarding will always keep their belongings and surroundings neat and clean. Except when they lie down and are relaxing on the bed,they will keep the bed properly made. Before leaving the BH they will ensure that the beds are made and all clothing and other items are kept inside the cupboard/locker. If any items like shoes are to be left outside, these to be kept neatly in proper place. While leaving the BH for prep classes, meals, etc. or at any time required, light and fans etc. are to be switched off, and doors and boxes are to be properly locked.

Entry to the Boarding House

BH is out of bounds to all boarders during school hours. In special cases, they may enter the BH with the permission of the warden. BH is out of bounds to all day scholars, at all times. Parents and other visitors (unless authorized by principal) are not permitted to visit the rooms/dormitories. They may visit BH to meet their wards only twice in a month (on 2nd Sunday and 4th Saturday of the month) between 01 pm - 05 pm and 10 am - 01 am. They should wait for their wards to come to the visitors room.

Late Reporting

After visiting home, if a boarder reports late to the school, his next home-leave may either be curtailed or completely denied as a punishment. In addition he will be required to pay a fine of Rs. 25/- per day also for the duration of unauthorized absence.

Discipline

Boarders are to attend all the roll call line-ups in proper dress and in time. They should meticulously observe all dress regulations and the schedule prescribed for various activities. They should observe proper manners and etiquettes at all times, particularly in the dining hall. They should conduct themselves in the BH in such a manner that it does not cause inconvenience or disturbance to other boarders. They must help each other in studies, and in keeping the BH neat and clean. They should look after the one who is not keeping well and needs help. All boarders must obey the BH captain. They should report immediately to the BH captain/warden whenever they experience any difficulty or when they notice anything unusual. They should meet the parents and other visitors only in the visitors room.

Medical

A boarder must immediately report either to the BH captain or to the warden, if he is not feeling well and needs medical help. In case neither of them is available, he should ask one of the boarders to report the matter to the duty master or to any the staff members or to the principal, irrespective of the time of the day.

Valuable Items

Boarders are not-permitted to keep valuable or costly items except a wrist watch with them in the BH. Sophisticated electronic or electric gadgets, if found in their possession, will be taken away and kept in the custody of the warden.

Food Items

Boarders are advised not to consume food at outside shops when they go on out pass. Appropriate arrangement for food will be made by the BH whenever boarders go on picnics and excursions etc. Parents are requested not to bring any eatables to give to their wards during their visits to the school.
